# Icons and sounds

> Use local or Market-sourced icons and sounds in key actions.

## Icon library

The **Icons** workspace shows your local files and the Market icon packs you installed together. You can add files or open the library folder with the compact actions in the top bar.

Supported Market icon packs keep their PNG, JPG, GIF and SVG sources. When you pick an SVG icon, evoX can create a safe PNG output for the profile assignment.

<Tip>You can select an icon (or sound) folder you created and export it as `.evoxpack` with **pack** (📦) in the folder header, or submit it for publication directly with **Publish to Market** (🏪). Details: <a href="/en/application/publish-your-pack">Publish your own pack</a>.</Tip>

## Use an icon on a key

1. Select a key in the **Keys** area.
2. Open the icon picker from the selected key's settings.
3. Pick the source in the library and save the assignment.
4. Compare the app preview with the physical device screen.

File icons are copied to the profile's controlled asset folder. That way, moving the source file later does not break the profile binding.

## Sound library

The **Sounds** area shows supported local and Market sound content. In sound actions, configure the file, the volume and the repeat/fade options the action offers.

<Warning>Before removing a Market pack, check whether your profile uses icons or sounds from that pack.</Warning>
