# Profiles and pages

> Switch between profiles and pages for different usage scenarios.

A profile stores the key and knob assignments on evoX. Each profile can contain one or more pages.

## Switch profiles

* Select the profile you want to use from the left panel.
* The normal interface does not show raw profile identifiers.
* When the active profile changes, verify that the physical screens match the new bindings.

## Reorder profiles

Profiles in the left panel are in the order you set. When you grab a profile and drag it up or down and drop it, its position in the list changes and this order is saved permanently. You can do the same with the **Order** up/down buttons in the **Profile settings** window. Newly created or imported profiles are added to the end of the list.

## Navigate pages

* **Next** and **Previous** move through the current order.
* **Target** switches to a specific page or profile.
* On knob rotation, right means next and left means previous.

## Create a new page

Assign the **Create Page** action to a key; pressing it adds a new page to the active profile, and both the device and the app automatically switch to that page. The new page comes with ready page navigation on its left/right keys. You can give the page a name in the action settings; if left empty, "Yeni Sayfa" (New Page) is used.

<Note>evoX continues next time from the profile and page it was last closed on.</Note>

## Create a new profile

The **New profile** button at the top of the left panel creates an empty profile and adds it to the list.

<Note>An installation can hold at most **50 profiles**. When the limit is reached, creating new profiles, copying profiles and installing ready profiles stop; delete a profile first to make room.</Note>

## Install a ready profile

The **Ready profile** pack on the Market creates a new profile; it does not overwrite your current profile. The pack assets are copied to the new profile's controlled area and the profile is activated.

<Warning>Removing a ready profile removes only the profile tied to the installation record. Your own profile with the same name must not be deleted through name matching.</Warning>
