First launch
When you open evoX for the first time, a short welcome guides you through device connection and basic usage. In this step you are asked for optional anonymous error reporting permission, which contains no personal data; you can change your decision later from the Settings → Background card. A permission step is also added depending on your system: on macOS, Accessibility permission for keyboard and mouse actions; on Linux, a one-time system rule for device access. Details are on the Installation page.If the official evoX app is open, it may be holding the physical device. evoX should not present this as a connection and should explicitly ask you to take over control.
