Download evoX to your computer and start managing your device. evoX now runs on Windows, macOS and Linux; your profiles, key assignments and Market content are the same on all three systems. Each system has its own permission and update rules, so there are a few differences, listed in the cards below.

Download for Windows

64-bit Windows 10/11. Run the .exe installer and evoX takes care of the rest. It installs to your user account, needs no administrator permission and keeps itself current with automatic updates.

macOS — Apple Silicon

.dmg for Macs with M1 and later. No build is published for Intel Macs. The package is not yet signed by Apple, so you will see a security warning on first launch; you need to open the app manually once. On first launch evoX asks for Accessibility permission so the shortcuts you assign to keys can work. There are no automatic updates; you download every release from here. Linux — x86_64 AppImage

AppImage for the x86_64 architecture. Make the downloaded file executable and open it; no installation is needed. On first launch evoX asks once for your administrator password to set up device permission. Automatic updates work when you run the app as an AppImage from a folder you can write to. The links always point to the latest stable release. If you want to make sure the downloaded file is not corrupted, compare it with the SHA-256 digest in the cards. Do not run installer packages whose source you cannot verify.

After installation

Install and launch

evoX installs to your own user account; no separate system service is installed. On first launch its data area is prepared in your user folder.

Grant the required permissions

macOS asks for Accessibility permission and Linux asks for a one-time device permission. Windows has no extra permission step.

Connect the device

If the official app is holding the device, take over control.

Stay up to date

On Windows and Linux, evoX checks for new releases in the background and notifies you when one is ready. On macOS you download updates manually from this page.
